Showhouse terms of use
Last updated: October 24, 2026. Showhouse is operated by Salal Hub LLC, a Seattle, Washington company, as a product of Cedar Collaborative. By using Showhouse you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
What Showhouse is
A private community for people who love live performance to plan, log and rate what they see, and to find out what is on. Showhouse is free for members. It does not sell tickets or take payment.
Joining
Showhouse is invite only. You may join if you have an invite, or if a theater you hold tickets with has listed your email address. You must be 16 or older. Keep your sign-in email safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if someone else uses it.
What you post
Ratings, reviews and replies are your honest opinion. Please:
- say so when you worked on a show or know the people (there is a way to mark this);
- write about the work and the production, not about private lives;
- do not post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or that you do not have the right to share;
- do not copy other people’s reviews or marketing text.
You keep what you write. You give Showhouse permission to show your ratings and reviews to other members, and to show your plans to your friends, as the app describes. You can delete your own content, or ask us to.
We may remove content or an account that breaks these terms, or that we are asked to remove for a good reason. To report something, use “Something wrong? Ask an admin” or write to hello@showhouse.live.
Listings and accuracy
Show dates, times, prices and details come from theaters’ own pages, from members, and from automated reading of public pages. They can be out of date or wrong. Always check with the theater before you travel or buy. Showhouse is not responsible for a change of date or a cancelled show.
Theaters
A theater (or someone acting for it) can claim a page. If you claim a page, you say you are allowed to act for that theater. When a theater loads ticket-holder information into Showhouse, it confirms it has the right to share that information and has told its patrons as the law requires. The list remains the theater’s, and we use it only to give those people their tickets and to give the theater its tools. A theater can export its list at any time. Showhouse does not guarantee that its counts match the theater’s ticketing system, and a theater remains responsible for its own door list and ticket sales.
Ending your account
You can stop using Showhouse and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.
No promises, and limits
Showhouse is provided as it is, and may change or be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, Salal Hub LLC is not responsible for losses that come from using it.
The law that applies
These terms follow the laws of Washington State, United States.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell members before it takes effect.
