How Showhouse handles your ticket-holder list
Last updated: October 20, 2026.
When your theater loads a list of ticket holders, this is what happens to it.
- It is your list. Showhouse holds it for your theater. We do not own it, sell it or share it.
- Who sees it. Your theater’s staff, by role. Theater admins and the box office see the whole list. Door staff see names, party sizes and notes for the night they are checking in, never email addresses. No other theater, no member and no visitor can see it. A ticket holder who signs in sees only their own tickets. Showhouse’s administrator can reach the database to fix problems and uses that access for nothing else.
- What we do with it. We match a row to a person only when that person signs in with a code sent to the address on the row. We show them their tickets. We show your staff the door list and night requests. Showhouse does not email the people on your list; you tell them.
- No AI service. Nothing from a ticket-holder list is sent to any AI service. (Showhouse uses one to read public theater web pages and to read receipts that members paste in themselves. Neither touches your list.)
- Friends. If a ticket holder joins, their night appears to their Showhouse friends like any plan they make, and they can remove it. People on your list who never join are never shown to anyone but your staff.
- Delete it. Theater admins can delete one upload, one show’s list or the whole list in theater settings. Deleted rows leave the database at once. Backups Showhouse keeps expire within 12 weeks.
- Export it. Theater admins can download the whole list as a CSV file at any time, and the door list exports one night.
- If you stop. Ask, and we delete your list within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
- Questions. Write to hello@showhouse.live.
